Otium

Otium is a latin term meaning “contemplative repose” or “intellectual pursuit.” It also happens to be the name of our annual journal and email newsletter. Each issue includes original articles, transcriptions of Doug Allen’s legendary History of Urban Form course, interviews, and other resources that explore Doug’s influence and advance his ideas.
